What We Collect

AmortWise has no accounts, no newsletter, and no forms that submit data to us. The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser: the numbers you enter into the biweekly calculator or the extra payment calculator are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers.

Because there is no account system, we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, or any other personally identifiable information directly from you.

Third-Party Services

Like most websites, AmortWise uses third-party services that handle some data automatically:

• Google AdSense. We display advertising served by Google. AdSense uses cookies (including the Google DOUBLECLICK cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. You can also manage how Google uses data from this site via Google's partner policy page.
• Cloudflare. This site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes standard web log data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and performance purposes. Cloudflare acts as the site's data processor for these technical logs; this data is not used by AmortWise for marketing or profiling.

Cookies

AmortWise itself does not set tracking cookies and does not use analytics scripts. The only cookies likely to be present when you visit are those set by Google AdSense for ad delivery and measurement, as described above. You can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings; blocking them will not affect how the calculators work, since all calculations happen locally in your browser.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults making mortgage decisions and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

• Use the calculators without entering any information that identifies you — no real name, address, or loan number is needed, only generic loan figures.
• Opt out of personalized Google advertising via adssettings.google.com.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried in rewrites.
